About the Conference

What is UWA MUN?

UWA Model United Nations is an annual flagship conference hosted by United World Academy — bringing together the brightest young minds to debate, negotiate, and shape solutions to the world's most pressing challenges.

Delegates from schools and universities across the country step into the shoes of world leaders, representing nations and international bodies across a range of specialised committees. From climate action to international security, every voice matters.

Whether you are a first-time delegate or a seasoned MUNer, UWA MUN offers an unmatched platform for intellectual growth, cross-cultural exchange, and lifelong friendships.

"
Welcome to the fifth edition of UWA Model United Nations. This year's conference, themed "Bridging Divides, Building Futures," calls upon each delegate to look beyond boundaries and engage with the complex realities facing our global community.

UWA MUN is more than a simulation — it is a space where ideas are challenged, leaders are forged, and where the spirit of multilateral diplomacy comes alive. I invite you to debate boldly, listen deeply, and leave having grown in ways you did not expect.
